As we very cautiously start to transition into Spring 2017, take off the thick coats and introduce some lighter layers and lighter colours, structured shirts will become the focal point our outfits. Whether you've chosen flute sleeves, frilled cuffs, frilled shoulders, tied arms or tied waists, structured shirts are the perfect introduction into SS17.
There are three guarantees in January; an empty bank account, a failed 'Dry January' and knitwear is the staple of your wardrobe. From flute sleeves, knot details and cashmere to chunky, oversized and 'head-to-toe'. Knitwear is no longer just a practical item, it takes centre stage this season with personality, texture and delicate details.

The season of present swapping may now be over but that doesn't mean buying something special has to stop... welcome to the season of sales! Sometimes the sheer volume of products to choose from can be a little overwhelming so here are my favourite pieces - I hope they offer some inspiration!

When it comes to New Years Eve I usually take so long contenplating what I'm going to wear that I end up panic buying something on the day. So for all you in the same situation, here is some last minute inspiration!
Denim is the backbone of any wardrobe so updating it every season is essential. Both designers and street style have influenced this seasons must-have, making it an exciting time to purchase some new pairs. AW16 is about deconstructing and customising denim in the form of frayed hems and embroidery. 
We can all agree that 2016 has been an, how should I put it, challenging and disruptive year. I think, whether subconsciously or not, we've tried to overlook the depressing times by focusing on the simple things that make us happiest - in this instance, our clothing. The wonderful and creative world of fashion has kept our interest and excitement peaked with luxe and elevated pieces, including our most basic essentials.
