The 'Summer Edit' series had to begin with swimwear! No longer is a swimsuit just something to wear in the pool or to tan in, it is a fashion statement in itself. The humble polyester material has become a symbol of summer and is now meticulously planned out. 

One pieces have made a huge return over the past couple of years and has truly become something Instagram-able rather than just something to cover up your wobbly bits. Make a statement with New Look's slogan swimsuit, keep it sexy with Topshop's cut-out one piece or take inspiration from Victoria Beckham SS16 with Solid & Stripe's gingham print.

Alternatively, bikinis may be the one for you. Keep it romantic with For Love & Lemon's lace detail two piece, River Island's delicate floral print co-ord or H&M's scallop edge bikini. Conversely, channel the 90s with ASOS's eyelet and tie set or stand-out in Missguided's red crochet two piece.

Finally, make your beach and poolside outfit complete with a cover-up and accessories. H&M's cotton dress is sweet and appropriate enough for the journey between your villa and the beach, whilst also light enough to throw on when you need shade from the sun. Slider's are everywhere at the moment and River Island's cross over pair are perfect for home and abroad. Lastly, add Boohoo's metal frame sunglasses for a rock star look (and hidden boy-watching).
