As the evenings become darker and the temperature continues to drop, our homes become the most inviting place to be. Hibernation season has started so it's a great time to add a few new special pieces to ensure it always feel like the cosiest place we want to socialise, read or wind down in.

Rich yellow velvet cushions, soft textured blankets and accents of gold hardware add a touch of warmth while clear glass sculptures retain the light airiness of a summer past and a summer coming.

The must have ornaments of the season has to be Anissa Kermiche's vases which depicts a woman's body in all its glory. Evolving from her eponymous jewellery line, each piece is a celebration of the female form and is the perfect finishing touch.

As the new season begins now is the time to create a 'foundation' on which to build your new wardrobe from. A neutral palette full of the best basics is the perfect starting point before you start adding more trend-led pieces.

A curated winter wardrobe will always include the following classic pieces; a camel belted coat, a white roll neck jumper and a pair of trusty straight-leg jeans. Chunky gold jewellery and silky slip skirts continue to be staples after becoming fan favourites over the past few months.

Taking inspiration from the designers, Topshop's bold shoulder jumper is the perfect Isabel Marant dupe while River Island's leather belted trousers are sure to be as popular as Nanushka's offering. Finally, the check utility jacket has very quickly become the must-have outerwear piece so don't miss out!
