During sale time it's so easy to caught up in discount offers and you end up buying an exceeding amount of clothes, that really, you don't need. This time when spending your newly acquired vouchers and money think strategically...

As much as we'd like to believe spring is just round the corner, sadly it's not. We've got January and February first so think about purchasing staples to get you through the next couple of months.

Personally my colour palate consist of black, grey and white with a few neutrals accents added in. When buying staple pieces think of colours, textures and details that can seamlessly fit in with most outfits and allows your statement garment or accessory to shine. Anne-Marie Curtis, Fashion Director at ELLE, agrees saying,

"Just because it's a bargain, doesn't mean you should buy it. I always go through my wardrobe mentally and ask myself, 'What would I wear it with?' If I can't think of anything, then it stays on the rail."
