Rewriting the Royal Ascot Dress Code with FarFetch

"You walk into the enclosure and you feel the eyes slowly study you; taking in the craftsmanship of your origami dress, the studded details on the pumps wrapped around your feet and the delicate yet strong rings placed on the fingers holding your folded clutch bag to your side. You're not just there to win your bets, you're there to make a statement - I make the rules, not follow them"

If there's one thing the British love it's traditions and rules; something the Royal Ascot dress code has demonstrated perfectly in the past. But recently the standard of dressing at the annual event has come under fire as many spectators believe the standards are slipping. FarFetch contacted me about a really interesting idea to get involved in - "Rewrite The Royal Ascot Dress Code".

They asked me to tell my own style story and create a new "look" for Royal Ascot, forgetting the previous regulations, that will grab the attention of fashion lovers, not followers. This competition is part of their on-going Unfollow Campaign which you should definitely check out as it's not only interesting, it's refreshing! But in the mean time let me know you think of my new "look"...
