River Island's "Christmas In July" Press Day

  

Expect to see: fur, pastels, burnt orange, Pom-poms, sequins, blue, animal print, leather & gold.

River Island's recent press day, Christmas In July, was significant for two reasons; it was the first ever press day I attended and it was my first press day as River Island's press assistant!

It was rather surreal travelling to London in the morning heat and then walking into the office which had been transformed into a winter wonderland. Our little working space was now filled with snow, fur, sequins & glitter - in the middle of summer. The type of thing that would only happen in the fashion industry.

It feels wrong saying I'm excited for winter already but after seeing the white fur jacket and knitwear co-ord I can't deny it. My favourite turned had to be "cocktail noir". These party dresses are incredible with so much choice - sequins, glitter and metallics. And how gorgeous are the autumn tone accessories - I'm already listing after the orange two tone tote.
