SS20 Trend Report | Minimalism

Up next in the SS20 trend report is one of my favourites - minimalism. The runway was awash with minimal designs taking inspiration from the 90s. Helmut Lang demonstrated the beauty of simple lines, Givenchy delivered simples staples and Bottega Veneta combined classic and relaxed tailoring. Colour palettes are also stripped back with The Row, Nanushka and Bec + Bridge using monochrome and neutral colours.

This trend is part of an overarching theme of wearability and covers all aspects of your life with tailored trousers & oversized blazers for work and silk separates & corset tops for play. Accessories can also play a large part in wearing this trend with strappy sandals, square front mules, soft clutches and leather shoulder bags
