Like the rest of the world, my best friend Amy and I decided to visit Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park hoping to pro-long the Christmas feeling.
We were told the best time to go was when it was dark, so beforehand we headed North to Camden.
Amy said I need to see the Camden Locks and Camden Markets. I couldn't get over how many stalls there were and all the food on offer! I loved how everything was underground and it felt like the community and created & built it up rather than a commercial company.
On our way to Hyde Park Amy and I got off the tube early and walked though Oxford Street. All the sales were in full swing and we treated ourselves in our favourite shops - pull & bear, river island, bershka and topshop.
Finally it got dark and we headed to Winter Wonderland! I felt like a big kid walking around feeling the Christmas spirit again! Everyone is so happy and friendly. We felt free to sing and dance as we strolled around.
We had the tough decision of spending our money on rides or wine. We chose wine and headed to the Après ski bar. After our drink warmed us up we walked around finding more bars, live music, Christmas trees, Santas grotto and the iconic ice rink. Before leaving we had one more drink on a moving carousel, accompanied by live music.
The day was finished off with a meal at Prezzos and delayed trains at Waterloo. Love London!
